Pros

None about this company that I can think of. One pro for me is that I found another job that is a much better company that knows how to treat employee's well, This move gave me better pay, better people to work with, and a better company overall!

Cons

Your salary will be low-balled for your position when you are hired. Once you get hired, you'll find out that you are a low level in the multiple levels for your job. To get to a supervisor or manager position, you must get promoted anywhere from 4 to 8 levels to get to the next position. Reviews come around yearly. If you get an increase in pay, it is very low even if you exceeded all your goals. People are a Hit and Miss. Mangers are the worst; they will point fingers and degrade other employee's only to make themselves or their department to look good. If there are HR issues, they will just have you fix it on your own with little to no support. Weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager are a joke. They talk about subjects not related to you or your job title. Good luck to whoever interviews for this company.

It sounds like you had a rough go during your time here at Bio-Rad. That's not what we like to hear, but we appreciate your honesty. Having a position with multiple grades available is often a good thing as it represents opportunity for growth. Unfortunately it also relies heavily on your performance in the role and your relationship with your management team, and this seems to have been the issue in your situation. We hope that you were able to share your thoughts constructively with us before you left.
