Pros

Company culture is special for a large company. People here care about each other - many have been here for decades. Recent additions to the leadership team show promise for an upward trajectory.

Cons

Outdated and slow processes delay progress, but these are being updated. Change is always painful, so this will be a challenging transition but we will be better for it in the end.

Pros

Well known laboratory equipment Brand

Cons

Fear driven organization in which pointing out of problems is discouraged. Regularly restructuring to compensate for incapacity to properly serve customers, as reflected by its inability to drive revenue growth year after year.

Thank you for this feedback. 8-10 years is not a bad run and we wish you well. The restructuring was not a "yearly thing" by any stretch of the imagination and represents something that Bio-Rad does very rarely. For those less familiar with Bio-Rad's recent restructuring plan, we offer the following… Bio-Rad recently made important organizational changes to improve its ongoing operating performance. This primarily impacted our operations in the United States and included the elimination of certain positions, the consolidation of some functions, and the relocation of specific operations. This affected approximately 5% of our overall global workforce. These actions were important and necessary to respond to market conditions and economic realities. Bio-Rad's senior leadership did not enter them lightly. Further, Bio-Rad will take what steps it can to support employees directly affected, including offering cash severance payments, extended healthcare benefits, and related transition assistance.
