Changes Occurring - Hopefully for the Better?

Pros

Flex work time, different projects/assignments keep you busy and engaged, direct manager cares about my team

Cons

Receiving half our bonuses 2023, upper management is out of touch, high turnover, losing perks we used to have, no ELN = ENORMOUS amount of paperwork, career ladders are not visible/planned out

Pros

Most managers Value work life balance Compensation tends to be average (which is good). Though we’re not supposed to discuss compensation. The salary can vary quite a bit for the same position Snack machine benefit is nice

Cons

Sick time≠PTO for scientists and associate scientists. But you can borrow future time Have to be carful during training. In many cases, I find some things I am to do isn’t covered.
