Benefits are better than anything out there really Nice coworkers

Overworked and underpaid compared to the competition. I would put in 10-12 hour days consistently. Got hired as a study coordinator, promoted to a PM, micromanaged by my manager, then told my HR that there had been documentation as to why they were letting me go. I asked what that documentation was, never received it. There was also a mass layoff I heard from coworkers so it was a convenient excuse so I didn’t have to get paid a severance. Managers constantly felt threatened and would dump work onto subordinates while spending their time worrying about how money was getting spent and who would be fired next.

No work life balance The new executives have no ability to see the importance of the lab facing people who are doing the work to bring the data the company relies on for revenue Leadership and team work is absolute trash The system is extremely hierarchical which makes it impossible to learn anything outside of the scope of work they think you should have access to because they may view you as incompetent. Leaders of the team are incapable of seeing the opportunity to mentor young people just coming into the biotech space . It’s tragic

Some of the BPM's are great to learn from but they are being overworked.

Cons

The rest is Hype. Overworked, underpaid, bonus and raises are not as promised. There is a mass exodus because of the the broken promises. They allow and encourage favoritism and bullying. The "build out" is a joke. Educated, professionals in a kindergarten desk. Grown men, 6'' + are sitting with their knees around their necks. The lay out is so wrong. samples have to be brought through the office areas. To the last review. Yes there were lay-offs. I am sad for the founders because they really did have a great dream. Don't be fooled, they could not care less about an employee, it's just another gear to them and you can all be replaced.
