Pros

Biogen Idec is a steadily growing company with a good reputation for how they treat employees. They have a well rounded benefits package to go with a solid salary. A great place to gain experience as long as you pursue the interests.

Cons

There are few cons to working at Biogen Idec. It is a high stress environment that pushes the boundaries when scheduling work. If you are looking for a laid back schedule that takes time going through the low level details I would not suggest coming here.

Pros

The people! Who would have thought you would meet so many great people working in an analytics lab. I really loved going to work everyday due to the positive atmosphere at this company.

Cons

There aren't many cons. I suppose the layoffs are a con but otherwise working at Biogen Ides was pretty great. They treated us well.

Pros

They offer an amazing opportunity for progression in the field. Supervisors are extremely willing to mentor and assist in the development of their employees, and there are incredible opportunities to gain further knowledge and become a functional working unit with your co-workers.

Cons

There are times when it is necessary to work long hours or come in on the weekends to ensure the success of an ongoing project.
