- The toughest, most interesting, biological problems (neurodegenerative disease) with huge unmet need - Intelligent and committed Research scientists as colleagues who care about getting the science right, and care about the patients - Freedom to propose new research directions and generate data to support/refute those choices - Celebration at successfully proving targets/methodologies won't work and should be discarded - Large commitment to DE&I (LGBTQIA+, Veterans, Nationality, etc.) - Large commitment to climate advocacy (first among biotech companies in this domain)
Cons
- Current negative public image due to poor decision-making on Adu - Lower than needed % promotion for each cycle leads to attrition - Reduced camaraderie/socialization due to current pandemic
