Pros

Good pay and benefits package. Nothing else.

Cons

Senior leadership is inept and filled with Biogen "lifers" who have no legitimate experience outside of the company. They lack the vision and skillset to improve anything, while patting themselves on the back and giving each other promotions. Meanwhile, smart people who do the work languish with zero recognition and eventually leave. The rare person who is promoted is done so only out of kissing you know what. It's a perfect recipe to destroy a company, which is exactly what's happening.

Pros

Salary (and benefits) are competitive

Cons

Company is obsessed with "business process" - all training SOPs consist of page after page of BPN charts, ostensibly providing the ability to identify synergies. But in fact, decision-making is kept at the highest levels, and decision-making meetings are set by calendar, not by urgency. Result? Projects drag on for months at risk, unclear about decisions. Creates huge anxiety among staff. In certain functions, headcount is too high, leading to turf wars and boredom. Middle management is poorly trained (if they're trained at all). Not bad people, just nobody showed them how to go from individual contributor to manager.

Pros

The company provides a lot of benefits like a nice cafeteria, on site car detailing...

Cons

My original role was limited duration customer service. During my time I always received high scores. I was allowed 5 personal/sick days. Unexpectedly because my kids school’s heating system failed I ended up using all 5 days. When it was time to pick who gets the permanent position. I was informed that the position was given to another because she did not have children. My supervisor told me that because I used all of the personal time and the other person has no children and used less was the reason.
