      Pros

      The people are great to work and collaborate with. Knowing that we are making a difference in patients' lives is very fulfilling. Good opportunities for those looking to get their foot in the biotech door. Good reputation in the industry.

      Cons

      Need more opportunities for career development. Build up training programs for new managers. Hire career development consultants to teach staff for the purposes of retaining them.

      Pros

      As the title says, the people there are fantastic. The company itself focuses a lot on making sure their employees are happy whether it is having fitness fairs, cheap gym membership, health food fairs, summer hours (where you work an extra hour M-Th and then get to take a half day on Friday), etc. The culture is young and dynamic. Overall a wonderful place to work.

      Cons

      They tend to hire mainly contract workers instead of full time workers, and transitioning from contract to regular employee takes a lot of diligence and only happens rarely. Summer hours also do not apply to some departments such as Process Development.

      Pros

      I enjoyed working at biogen idec. Great people good food to eat. I am really proud to make the medicine.

      Cons

      the hours are no fun. I also dont like how long the wait is to move up in the company.
