Helping people with Disabilities have good quality care and lives. This job will humble you in many ways. Even though the pay is small, the rewarding feeling of helping someone helps to keep you encouraged.
Cons
Over worked, staffing issues frequently, More responsibilities than you can handle, on call protocol is not followed. Staff will call you directly all times of the day and night. It is a high stress position that requires you to be available nonstop. Be careful of people trying to set you up to fail. Your staff can either make your job easy or cause you lots of stress.
