WORST COMPANY EVER

Pros

There are none. Please save yourself the time and don’t work here.

Cons

Upper management is indecisive. They keep changing quotas, pay structure, and find every single way to cheat their employees out of money. When I first started, everything was great, until about 2 months in and then I saw all the sketchy antics from Leadership, and all other departments of Birdeye. I’ve been told to leave positive reviews on Glassdoor for Birdeye or else “something might happen”. I confronted HR, and they ignored me completely. They over work their employees, they tell you when and when not you can use your “unlimited PTO”. I had to cancel a vacation because they threatened to fire me, and I was one of their strongest employees. They under pay their employees on a minimum average of $20-25k. They are an “upper management first” company and couldn’t care less about how they treat their sales teams. They consistently will talk negative about their employees that they don’t personally like so they won’t get in trouble for their lack of leadership. Turnover is the biggest issue. They have around a 23% employee retention rate. Most employees they hire will either be fired for no reason or they will quit after a few months because they realize all of the sketchy things going on and want nothing to do with Birdeye. I am completely embarrassed to say that I worked for Birdeye and would give anything to go back in time and stop myself from working there so it wouldn’t be on my résumé.
