Doing well

Pros

It's a comfortable company that seems to care - during COVID they were quick to respond, put employees first, and announced no job cuts. It's crazy out there now so feel good about job security. The company is working on some interesting technology and working with legacy products as well. Interesting customers. Before I joined, I didn't know fax was still being used so much - it just keeps growing. Like the people here - everyone is friendly, open, down to earth. Nice to see some new faces coming on board.

Cons

Better communication than in the past but still feel like there could be more. Too many meetings through Zoom - tiring!

Pros

Biscom is a great place for roles in engineering, sales, or support - especially for an individual starting their career. There is opportunity to see all sides of business and offer input. The rule is to ask if you are missing a resource in your daily work, even outside of work, and you'll likely get a lending hand. It is a very friendly, family oriented workplace. Connections made at Biscom will be lifelong relationships and mentors. Free lunch on Wednesdays. Travel opportunities. Freedom in each role.

Cons

Location, but could be beneficial to those around Chelmsford.

Pros

- Definite changes in company culture for the better - Flexible and accomodating - Can easily find answers to questions - People are very nice - Company get-togethers twice a year and larger focus on community service activities

Cons

Some people wear too many hats and you can end up with a "too many cooks in the kitchen" situation.
