Finally found my home

Pros

I love the people I work with here, truly. I have worked for a really good company in the past but in the past few decisions that I made I could not run fast enough away from them. Now that I am at Bitcasa, I feel like I finally found my home. -people are always collaborating -people enjoy catching up about their weekend activities -people enjoy spending non-working hours with each other -people are super smart -people are excited about the product we are working on -people WANT to help each other Oh, and the perks are not too bad either. Gym membership, vacation, lunches, beer fridays, and much more.

Cons

We at times run out of conference rooms. Sometimes when I am trying to concentrate, because we do not have private offices, nearby conversations can be a bit distracting.

Lot's of up's and downs but on the right track.

Pros

Great location, commute friendly. Perks are awesome. 100% free benefits: HMO & PPO, Medical, Dental, 401k, Short/Long term disability, Life Insurance, CalTrain Pass, Gym Membership, Ping Pong...your start-up perks on steroids. After a rocky 2014, Bitcasa finally has everything in the right direction. Investors that continue to back the company and partnerships that are finally paying off for Bitcasa. The Management team is trying their hardest to bring the fun back to the company and do right by it's customers and are making the right decisions to move Bitcasa forward into a positive direction. They are also doing the right things to keep all the talented people there and making changes where changes are needed. The negative energy that was there in 2014 is no longer there and the people who believe in Bitcasa and want it to succeed are making it happen.

Cons

Lots of the original members have left, but that is to be expected as the company grows. Management and team are adjusting to the new landscape and are hoping to finally build off of some positives instead of digging out of a hole that the previous leadership put them in.

Pros

Great schwag, lunch everyday, nice office on castro that's close to caltrain. Engineering team is great, fun to work with.

Cons

CEO is a bit confused. No clear vision. Very random thought process. Very arrogant, chest thumping attitude which makes it even worse.
