Pros

- There were occasionally interesting problems to be solved. - The people there are all very smart and fun to work with. - HQ is in a great location in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston.

Cons

- Management isn't great (more business focused than employee satisfaction/growth focused). - Things can move unnecessarily fast at times, which has led to high levels of burnout. - Pay is below market. - The work from home policy is based on manager's discretion.

Pros

* engineering is top notch and a great group of people, pretty much everyone is a joy to work with * product is the best in its market, it DEFINED the market * leadership has been around the block before and knows what they're doing * tech stack is interesting and up to date * lots of responsibility and project ownership is available

Cons

* ops team definitely needs another person or two, it's about a 1:10 ops:sw engineer ratio while I was there * some new management isn't necessarily widely liked and has been a catalyst for several good employees to leave for other opportunities * there's can be sort of a butts-in-seats attitude at times.
