Pros

BitSight is a great company that works in the fast-growing cyber security space. The solution is innovative and the employees are motivated and smart professionals. I think that all departments appreciate the hard work put in by others. We truly are building a world-class product. Some may say that BitSight is a sales driven culture but I think that is fine. As with any startup, BitSight is focused on increasing sales to benefit all stakeholders, employees included. Even with a focus on creating value and is a rigorous work environment, management is open to new ways of thinking and creative ideas.

Cons

Growing pains - limited office space, lots of work, long hiring process. BitSight employees are incredibly smart and talented at what they do. This often means that they have very high standards when hiring which is generally a positive. Sometimes however it can take a long time to fill positions.

Pros

BitSight is full of smart, creative, proactive, and fun people. We are creating a new market, which is full of interesting challenges; it is never boring. The management team provides great leadership and "walks the talk." Everyone is highly collaborative. People work "smart" and meetings are productive. There is a mentality that you should try new things out / test ideas - just fail fast and learn from the experience. I love the culture.

Cons

This is one of the best - if not the best - places I've ever worked, so it's hard to come up with a con. Work - life balance is good, but the only thing I would say is that you sometimes feel bad if you come in late or have to work from home. Could be self imposed pressure, though.
