Pros

- There are some talented, talented folks working here - Free food/drinks in the kitchen - Great location in Pioneer Square - Interesting products to work on

Cons

- Low pay. I know this is a startup and this often is part of the equation, but it's tough to get an apartment in Seattle on the pay they are providing. A good friend of mine just left for the company down the street (which also is a startup) because it pays considerably more. - Vague manager feedback. I know this varies by department, but my manager is very vague during our 1:1 meetings. I've gotten to the point that these meetings are either "yep, you're doing fine" or a more generic (and concerning) "work harder". The later isn't very actionable. I sometimes walk away from these meetings thinking "well that didn't go well, should I worry about my job". - Micromanagement. Again, this might be different in other teams, but I'm noticing a lot of micromanagement sneaking in, where there used to be very little. - Turnover. Maybe it's just a seasonal thing, but I've noticed a high amount of turnover as of late. I'm holding back thinking that it has anything to do with company issues (I'm guessing those spaces will be back filled), but it is a bit worrying. - Lack of priorities. As with any startup, there are lot of things for us to do. I'm already working nights and weekends and so getting some guidance on what I should prioritize would be helpful rather than "focus on everything". - The company 401k. We just got this (hooray!) but I've heard terrible things about the company that is managing it. Some friends of mine at other startups say that it's a nightmare to deal with. I guess I'll wait and see, but has me a bit worried. Maybe this goes under "concerned" instead of "cons", but still.

Pros

I cannot say enough good things about Bizible! This is hands down my favorite position ever held!!! In terms of culture and employee development, Aaron invests in his team. He and his co-founders believe in the value each and every employee brings to the table. Lunches, snacks and beverages are provided on a daily basis. There is never a need to leave the office...and I never really want to! Work-life balance is phenomenol! I look forward to going to work everyday! It is fast-paced, team-oriented, challenging, dynamic - and the product is incredible!

Cons

I cannot hink of anything negative to say about Bizible. I think the only downside is the commute/parking. However, Bizible does contribute towards some of those expenses - and one will deal with those issues any where is the Emerald City.
