      I agree with you that Black Box is a great place to work as long as you stay on top of your responsibilities. It is a challenging environment that is not for everyone. We need team members that are dedicated to serving our clients and exceeding expectations. Over the past two years Black Box has been going through an evolution as we bring together over 100 acquisitions to drive the One Black Box focus. We have now built a strong organization focused on making Black Box the trusted digital partner.       Pros

      Full time hours Job security Coworkers are easy to get along with for the most part Laid back atmosphere

      Cons

      No raises for anyone that is not an executive with the company. People that put in the bare minimum effort are rewarded the same as those that put in effort that goes above and beyond. No room for advancement (pretty much a dead end job at this point). Management is out of touch and treat employees as disposable assets.

      I would not agree with the comment about it being a "laid back atmosphere." I would state that it is a very performance driven environment focused on achieving results. We now have a consistent merit planning process in place that had not been in place in years past that is focused on rewarding top performers. Now that we have integrated all 100 acquisitions that made up Black Box there are plenty of opportunities for team members who want to move up in the organization. Our Performance Management Cycle is now in place to make sure we give feedback, reward top performers and improve or move out team members who are not making a contribution. David M.
