They do actually pay me

Cons

Long hours in a high pressure and highly dysfunctional environment. Despite what they claim in their mission statement, it is profits first and foremost, not people nad certainly not the non-profits they claim to serve. Constant shrink in benefits Too many semi to non-technical managers, not enough technical people More interested in selling new features or products than producing good products Really poor teamwork

Pros

The clients are really great.

Cons

In Europe all male management team who spend most of their time proving themselves to each other. Only interest is money. Clients don't exist if not buying additional products. Weak and really outdated technology.

In an industry where principle and character guides many decisions, ruthless business interest often wins out at Blackbaud. Management tends not to learn from mistakes Feeling the pain of the customer is often part of the job
