Thank your for your feedback. Want to hear what the former President of Pepsi says about Blackmore and their business model? Go to the following YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsepnBlPT5U Our program was modeled after "Junior Achievement. You get out of it what you put in. If you got nothing out of it, likely you did not apply yourself. Since 2005, we estimate over 300 interns have gone through the program. The internship is a "training program" with clear and measurable written outcomes to develop those who cannot get a job in todays market. Blackmore is only for those who want to cannot get a paid position because they lack training and experience. Those that complete the program gain measurable, repeatable skills valued by employers. Consider you were scammed by your college. After four years of college you were not employable, they took your money and did not deliver. Your college did not have the respect for you and others of your generation to deliver what the market needs in an employee. In six months at Blackmore you build professional and communication skills that employers value and will pay you to come aboard. Pros

The pro I would say is that if you're an international student you can get you OBT extended. Secondly, they provide networking event.

Cons

I can go on for pages here but the main points are. First, there no financial modeling involved in this internship. All you get to do is general office tasks and the main reason for hiring interns is to work as assistants to the MD who provides recruiting services to executive to work with PE firms and to do industry and company research. Secondly, there a huge waste of time in the office as there is only one associate who behavior is very unprofessional and doesn't follow up on tasks or give any guidance because I believe he lacks the right experience in this industry. How can expect someone to teach you something he is not immersed into himself?. Lastly, just don't waste your time at BMP unless you're an international students and need any type of experience or OBT status.
