Great Company, Long Hours

Pros

Blattner has great culture and support system. Job security is a large benefit as they tend to hold employee through the markets thick and thins.

Cons

Lots of new people coming in, so its a constant battle to train and train and train. There are lots of polices and procedures to follow but never enough time to complete them all. Salary is lower than the rest of the market. Hours are long.

At Blattner, we do try to strategically plan our work so it's balanced, even though we are in an industry that has a natural flow of peaks. Training is a top priority at Blattner and we have our systems in place to ensure the field received the necessary training to safely and effectively complete their work. Training processes are continually looked at to find efficiency on how they are performed, as we understand the importance of well-trained and informed employees. We perform regular salary reviews and offer a competitive compensation package.

Pros

I was so excited to be a part of Blattner familly.

Cons

Poor management and communication.i got stabbed in my back 2 days before Xmas holiday.mean i got terminated without no notice no warning .and based on a lie becouse my asistant superintendent have alot of connection due to long time being in the comany.so he got the tittle.and push the site manager and the general superintendent that i never had any communication with to Terminat me.

We can't comment on employee performance matters, however, Blattner does have processes in place to help ensure newly hired employees can be successful in their roles.

Pros

Competitive pay, regular raises, great bonuses, new work truck with gas card, good support from management.

Cons

Long work hours, rotations home are 5 days off every 3 weeks, first year bonus doesn't make up for the hours you work.
