Pros

Smart and skilled colleagues below the senior management level.

Cons

Compensation: Extremely uncompetitive compensation, you will be underpaid by at least 25 to 30%. One would assume that such low pay would equate to a great work life balance but that is definitely not the case in most projects. The worst part about it is that you cannot make up for this low compensation by working hard and delivering on every task. It doesn't matter how much work you put in or you don't, the yearly pay raise remains the same for all employees. There is absolutely no scope for negotiation, however big of a superstar employee you are. How will an employee ever be motivated to deliver the best work if it is not reflected in their appraisal? The only thing you get for toiling long hours beyond your regular 9 to 5 is a ridiculous $25 Amazon gift card. AI First: They just rebranded themselves showcasing that they are an AI First company. I genuinely feel they don’t understand what AI actually is. They don’t really work on any cutting edge projects but have apparently joined this AI rat race. I am absolutely sure 95% of the DSX employees have no clue what this AI First even means and how is it even applicable to the work they do daily. They created a new god awful looking website which is full of stock photos, fake employee testimonials and the word “AI” slapped on every corner of every page. They employees that you’ve listed on the Culture page of the website aren’t even real employees. They are people from stock photos, given random names and titles. What is the point of being so duplicitous? Couldn’t they have got 3 or 4 real employees with their real testimonies? Hire to Fire Culture: Any new grads thinking of joining the company, please be aware that there is a very real possibility of you being fired in the first 6 months of your employment. They blame is this on poor performance but couldn’t they gauge that when they put a candidate through like 7 rounds of interviews? There are certain few Sr. Directors and SVPs on the delivery side who expect all their reporting employees to work on weekends and well beyond 6pm on weekdays. They expect their own workaholic nature to trickle down the ranks. If you are firing new grads on the grounds of performance after that extensive recruiting process, it is you that has failed them. The management claims that they have a lower acceptance rate that Harvard/MIT etc. Stop making these deceptive, ridiculous and frankly disgusting claims when you can’t even nurture your youngest talent.

- Culture and team activities - Leadership - Leaders who care about your development - Team - great people who work hard and have fun doing it

Cons

- Processes tend to be created due to a reaction of a problem, not proactively. They are becoming more and more proactive each year. The company is on a great track as they mature
