For the Board and New CEO

Pros

MISSION, research, marketing is great. Work life balance, compensation are good. They let anyone work from home. You can't beat it. People for the most part are great.

Cons

New coaching philosophy is a turn off - grabbing employees to meditate and run through deep breathing if they perceive you need it is really not working. We have issues to solve, let's forget this and get down to business. No training available at all these days. Some leaders have favorites who can do no wrong and are over empowered. THis will be a task for the CEO to breakdown. I only wouldn't recommend to a friend right now because we are in an interim state until a CEO is named. Innovation is not welcome in some areas of the business.

Will make you think twice about a non-profit career

Pros

Working with participants who are mission focused

Cons

There are so many events at all times that you get burnt out quickly. The politics of upper-management is absurd and delays every single project you are working on to the point where it is a huge detriment to your work flow. Room for growth at lower levels, but quickly fizzles out. Too many women who think they know best.
