Pros

My coworkers, super kind hearted and helpful Health benefits

Cons

Worst job I have ever had. Overworked and undervalued. I have never been treated worse by directors in my life. Was constantly told I was bad at my job and was brought to tears almost every day. I took this job because I wanted to help people, but all I did was harass people for money and was told my ideas were awful.

Pros

Being a remote/hybrid nonprofit is a different situation in itself. I enjoyed the position and help myself accountable for doing the overall task.

Cons

Everything from the top gets pushed down to you as the associate when you have nobody to help because your the bottom layer but also the layer that is on the frontline working with volunteers. Management never offers help because they are getting bombarded from the top and anything they can handle gets pushed under to Directors who can't help because they are trying to make the directors happy. The structure needs to change and the ones working with the volunteers on a daily basis need to be supported and encouraged not the bottom feeder and belittled about things they can't do because there is no support to do it all.
