      Extensive health coverage, starting salary is good. Company has great culture with good D&I and colleagues

      Cons

      Little career progression and not much valuable projects to take on. Work hours is longer than other companies (8-6pm). Subsequent pay raise after your 1st year is minimal.

      Great Opportunities, But High Pressure & Expectations

      Great job security, benefits and opportunities to do work across print, radio, digital and TV. For ambitious people, you can land book deals, get shows and so on. A lot of autonomy.

      Cons

      Always-on culture, even weekends, evenings and vacations, with really high expectations at a relentless pace. But that's sort of what you sign up for in a major global newsroom. Not a very diverse place in terms of race and ethnicity. Your experience here can vary widely by team. Some teams are more laid-back but others are very old school in their management styles, meaning they micromanage more. There are lots of layers of bureaucracy, which is expected, but it can make reporting and editing stories a cumbersome process.
