You were paid a salary pay being a store manager.

Cons

As salary employee you had to work a ton of hours and sometimes 6-7 days a week. Expectations for numbers were unachievable despite stores not being able to hit the those numbers ever. a ton of micromanagement from the district manager.

Sometimes you get connected with coworkers who go to bat for you

Cons

They will fire you without notice. They will keep commission you earned if you leave. The management will purposely change your schedule to get you to rack up points to be able to fire you so they don’t have to pay unemployment benefits
