Might want to consider Amazon instead given hours worked, commute, and time spent around work.

Pros

Health benefits are fairly good. Stock options can be useless depending on when you're hired due to peak seasons. Pretty laid back place as a software engineer.

Cons

Management tends to be deceitful. Expected of engineers to work more than 40 hours a week. Project definitions are generally very vague. No documentation for existing systems. Turn over is very high in most departments.

Great business model and successful company, but has some growing up to do before it can be called a great place to work

Pros

Relatively small size provides great learning opportunities and access to senior management; great business model and place in the industry that's relatively insulated should provide good (but not great) financial performance over the next few years; solid benefits such as 100% employer-provided health insurance and generous stock options

Cons

Inflexible and somewhat arrogant senior management has led to high levels of employee attrition; more political than a company that size should be; compensation not as high as competitors which hurts when stock options are underwater

A great ride but so much potential yet to be realized

Pros

One of the first pureplay's prior to the .com bubble burst that not only made it but was very successful. A strong business model in a very lucrative retail market. A company who knows how to recruit both business and technical talent. Fast paced work environment with cutting edge technology and an innovative market approach

Cons

Somewhat of an immature arrogant company that neither appreciates it's younger to mid level talent nor how to groom or retain. A very bright young dynamic but power drunk CEO who managed to take over the healm from it's bricks and mortars founder, creating a somewhat toxic environment. I understand that has changed with it's newly appointed CEO and who's environment has hopefully improved.
