Pros

Technical, great job working on rocket engines. Co-workers, pay, insurance time off

Cons

Toxic leadership, only worried about their self preservation. Amazon took over and ruined what made Blue, Blue. Favoritism is a real problem and they reward the toxic people but hold back and demean hard workers

Pros

The Amazonification of Blue is in full swing so, if you would like to spend all of your time at work and not with family, this is the perfect place for you. You can say that you are not going to see your kids school event because you are working for the benefit of earth.

Cons

No free boxes to put your things from your desk in when you get layed off. Mangers are trying to save their job so they are too busy to back you up with escalations or support your professional development.

Pros

Employees are passionate about what they work on and are willing to help you and help the team achieve goals. Pay and benefits are good for a manufacturing job (8 floating holidays in a year + accrued PTO)

Cons

There is a 3 year cliff for your 401K Management has drastically changed over the last few years. Very politically motivated and they do not look out for the interest of their employees- only for themselves. Often they do not know what is going on down at the factory floor, and use wrong data to make quick business decisions due to pressure and speed from up top. Culture is shifting away from old Blue to more like Amazon, due to the influx of Amazon C-Suite executives being hired in. Safety culture is questionable in certain areas.
