Pros
Cool products, individual contributors are very passionate, chance to be a part of teh second space race.
Cons
They fire from bottom up when the poor leadership makes terrible strategic decisions. You are responsible for the stupid ideas of your executives. I've seen fleets of intelligent individuals laid off because an executive has a dumb idea that wastes millions of dollars. They usually get promoted and the people that had nothing to do with the decisions are left holding the bag. If you are a woman, I would look elsewhere. I can't count the number of women in leadership I have seen specifically targeted for termination. It has gone past coincidence into a pattern.
