Pros

Great coworkers who have a shared vision.

Cons

Blue had a long term vision until management decided they needed to turn a profit immediately. The real profit will be in mining off world; everything until then is just slowing us down and burning us out.

Pros

Collaborative, smart people, challenging and engaging work, great office environment. Pay and work life balance were good when I was there, but I'm hearing that is changing.

Cons

Senior leaders aren't decisive and seem to push on lower level employees to make decisions which is then turned down. It feels like the organization is paralyzed. Further, Blue is trying to mimic both Amazon and Spacex but without the reward. Increased hours, reduced pay with a focus on delivery but without the equity or payouts that the other two provide. My department was completely eliminated in the 2025 RIF, so I was only there for 6 months, but in that time there was one other smaller RIF and what felt like multiple re-orgs. Interesting time to be at Blue.
