Pros

Worked with some capable, fun, people. We overcame some overwhelming technical challenges. New Shepard continues to demonstrate the company's capabilities.

Cons

Senior leadership hired since 2015 has been disappointing. A number of managers, particularly the present CEO, feel they are the smartest people in the room. They squash contentious discussions. Those discussions are critical to taking informed risks and making good technical decisions. I personally witnessed bad news being squelched to avoid the inevitable conflict with the owner.

Overall I've only been at Blue for a short time. I am already extremely inspired by what everyone is doing here. Everyone that I've met is willing to help you out in some way to get better at your job and help you grow within the company. Blue pays you really well and treats you with respect.

Cons

As with any job, there will be some downsides. For me, some of the talk that comes out can be a little crude and there is some "bro" talk here and there as it is somewhat more of a male-dominated job field.
