Pros

Basically you can coast as much as you want because the company is so disorganized.

Cons

Low tc, no direction, constantly sitting in useless meetings about meetings about the work that needs to be done to do some work. No one gets promoted internally, they just quit and then come back 6-12 months later at a higher role. It doesn't pay off to work hard because the goal posts constantly change, the tools and processes constantly change, and your will to live constantly declines This company is horrible, I would never recommend working at Blue even to my enemy.

Pros

Good pay and benefits, cool concept art

Cons

Company is a mess on the inside. Program goals are constantly changing. Major architecture changes are passed along by word of mouth, and the management structure is a spaghetti ball. You’ll frequently hear people say “I have no idea what *that person* does here”. Expect to see the cart (design) miles in front of the horse (requirements/systems engineering). My first six months I was tasked to work hardware that had no requirement to be on the vehicle.

Pros

It will be a positive point on your resume. If you are a middle manager/executive your pay/benefits will vastly outstrip other employees.

Cons

Pay and benefits are below average for the region. Senior leadership has embedded themselves and fights change, and quickly disposes of anyone who challenges the wildly inefficient processes. The company lacks an overall culture as most resources are poured into the whims of management, leaving a stark divide in salaries. Middle managers (most of whom have no direct contact or backgrounds in the work they oversee) are in a near constant rush to complete mountains of work. This management "culture" consists of endless meetings upon meetings, in which individuals are as quick to claim credit as they are to cast blame and shame on one another. This filters down to frontline employees, who then take the brunt of their colleague's frustrations, and perpetuating a revolving door of hiring and firing.
