Pros

The pay is good. Starts out with four weeks of paid vacation. Like 10-14 days of company holidays. You get to work in a space program.

Cons

The organization's leadership structure is top heavy and is clueless to what the workers are doing and why (from the president down to the managers and directors). Promotions and awards are primarily handed out by pushing through a schedule milestone early, regardless of the downstream consequences or if things are being done right. Many of the engineers are either lazy, incompetent, and/or liars that won't take responsibility for their actions or in-actions. There is no real job security. Human resources (as with most places) is completely useless.

Cool work, toxic management

Pros

Good pay decent benefits, free drinks and snacks

Cons

There is a culture of production/work first, people last. Management and the safety organization idolizes the dystopian Amazon warehouse environment where people are expendable and micromanaged to the point where they're afraid to take a dump at work. I hear there may have been time when it was a great work environment but, the 2022 hiring surge brought in a lot tyrannical Amazon managers and exceeding incompetent Boeing bean counters.

Pros

Great company mission, values the future of earth

Cons

100% false advertising. You’ll be hired with the promise of remote work and flexibility just to be forced into the office 5 days a week to work from your laptop and sit on teams meetings all day. Leadership gave absolutely no notice to this change. Leadership/HR is not interested in getting feedback about changes made. The culture you’re creating is burnout. Would rate work life balance and culture lower if I could.
