They have recruited or poached the best and the brightest, so you will come to work and feel like you're really in good company. Your co-workers will make you a better engineer every day. Overall, the company culture is great right now. Everyone from Jeff down to the lowest functionary, is really engaged, humble and personable.

Blue puts a lot of responsibility in the hands of every employee, which makes for a good culture of mutual respect and accountability. I don't feel as if I'm being micromanaged And of course the subject of what we do is nothing less than awesome. I feel like what I'm working on now will end up in the Smithsonian some day, which is a pretty cool feeling. The work-life balance is good by start-up standards. This is a place where you can work hard, but not get burned out.
