Pros

Good pay, company could have been great at one point

Cons

-Do-ers are shunned for not sharing their workload and “effectively using other people” - Management gets very insecure when their people excel and outshine them - People expect better snacks, complain about broken down coffee machines, go for long walks, hardly work, and act entitled- WE ARE HERE TO LAUNCH ROCKETS -Blue has so many processes it has processed itself out of progress. All it does is make more processes.

Pros

Pay is good. For those who really don’t like to work, this place is for you.

Cons

There are so many power grabs; Structured like a huge mega big aerospace company; Motivation among employees is lacking; People who get things done, The “do-ers”, are criticized for not sharing work or “effectively using other people”; Actual “working time” people put in is minimal-they go for strolls, feel entitled to better snack stations, and complain about coffee machine breakdowns…WE ARE HERE TO LAUNCH ROCKETS; Blue hires so many systems engineers and “process people” from “process companies” that it literally processed progress out. People who are passionate, driven, “go-getters,” and motivated to get to launch are squashed here. Managers are all about “playing the game” (the hierarchy game) So sad :-( The company could be great, but management would never allow it.

Pros

I’ve worked across the industry and in tech for 15 years. This place has an influx of money, smart engineers, and the worst management / lack of prioritization I’ve ever seen. The RTO backlash in 2021 proved how little this place respects even senior employees and how the exec team imparts rules without intent to ever lead by example (lives full time in Arizona, demands employees work in Kent daily with no exceptions- multiple examples including the leader of the entire RTO team).

Cons

Not a single woman in a technical executive role. Culture. I’ve worked in several competitors, start ups, giant Boeing and all were immeasurably better culture wise.
