Pros

They have some cool technology

Cons

non existent leadership at high levels. Poor internal structure requiring duplicate and triplicate work to process anything. Manufacturing is slave to design. Everyone is just using the company as a way to work up the ladder quickly and move on. Plenty of mantras, catch phrases and buzz words, little real character at the corporate level.

Pros

1. Almost 5 weeks of vacation 2. Great health insurance and benefits 3. Up to 5% match on 401k 4. Education reimbursement up to 40k 5. 8 weeks paid baby bonding time 6. Relocation assistance was awesome 7. Culture is good, needs some work but they actually strive to keep the positivity up. 8. Lots of events, sports, clubs and activities to get involved in. 9. On site gym that's really nice. 10. Coffee, snacks & drinks readily available for employees with a good selection. 11. Get to see rockets launch from base! 12. Awesome Christmas parties. 13. Electric vehicle charging stations.

Cons

1. Lack of work, but seems to be changing. 2. Over hired a lot of people, causes lack of work for a lot of people which causes good talent to leave. 3. Biggest complaint. Not paying employees for their experience consistently through the company upon initial hiring. Depending on the department you got hired in or the hiring manager, they can determine a lot on your initial offer amount. Be sure to counter offer!!! Can not stress this enough. But Blue does pay better than 99% of the companies out there regardless. 4. Parking, but that's also getting fixed. 5. Constant change. Whether that's management, moving your area to another building or using your experience elsewhere that doesn't have enough people. You'll have to be flexible!

Pros

Great benefits and pay. Perks are awesome plus who doesn't love to build rocket ships?

Cons

If you are gay or transgender, you will NOT get promoted, transferred, and you will get passed over for a raise. I did not come out until after I had been working here 6 months. Everything changed. This company is for straight people only. HR department is useless to help. And who is going to go up against Jeff Bazo.
