Pros

This is an exciting and dynamic company to be a part of because we are growing rapidly. This will be my tenth year employed and I have received multiple promotions and ambassador opportunities. In addition to this I have witnessed many of my colleagues advance in their positions. It is an exciting career because we are provided vast product knowledge and invited to give feedback on the newest advancements in the cosmetic industry! Even with all of the expansion in the company we have maintained an open door policy and have great relationships between stores.

Cons

Unable to house every exciting brand the company has to offer due to spacial limitations.

Pros

Very lax, do your own thing, make your own rules, low accountability. Very little direction from upper management (this will be a good thing for some I'm sure).

Cons

No structure, professionalism, respect for time off, pay does not match experience in any position. Hiring standards do not meed industry norms, you are frequently asked to go above and beyond job duties without proper compensation, asked to work 10-14 hours days at least once a week.

Pros

I was a retail associate for under a year before I became a store Manager. There is significant growth with the company expanding. They want to hire within and promote those who show a strong work ethic. There is constant communication on a corporate level. When my store needs something, I can call and receive what I need to make my business thrive. There are no voice mails or prompts, there are people in HQ who want to see the business be successful!

Cons

Vendor Support can be tricky to secure as they are by area and location. Working Retail - weekends, holidays, etc
