Pros

I guess employee discount is a pro. Getting out at 6.

Cons

Too much grunt work, cleaning toilets, mopping floors, and many trips the dumpster, not exactly glamourous, nor is the never ending mountain of stockwork to do and when that's all done these insane women at the top of the food chain want you calling customers every other day. Don't even apply if you're a guy, because every guy I ever knew that worked there either got fired, usually framed for things they didn't do or say. or else they get driven so crazy they have to quit.

Pros

Great work hours Fun field to work in Fun coworkers and clientele

Cons

Upper management doesn’t always listen to employee feedback to improve the store. Not many growth opportunities although they will tell you there are but there aren’t. Poor pay

Pros

“Gratis” which comes from the BRANDS not Blue Mercury. They recently told brands to stop giving store teams gratis…

Cons

Higher up corporate leader often absent and disengaged, offering little to no meaningful support. Quick to throw you under the bus or say “I didn’t know” & “as well”. Instead of celebrating success, there’s a tendency to undermine high-performers and point blame. Huge egos, always on a power trip yet, disoriented, lost, and confused. Makes accusatory remarks without evidence, or thought, which creates a very toxic environment and makes it difficult to build trust. Professional growth is nonexistent, and innovation is discouraged. Upper corp Leaders feel threatened and need their egos stroked. Feedback culture doesn’t exist. Upper leadership leans more toward criticism and negativity than development, with little recognition of people-first leadership and different, positive leadership styles. Racism, and favorable treatment for specific individuals definitely exist. Overworked and extremely underpaid
