Pros

Free skincare and make up— but it’s really just a rouse to distract you from how unfairly low you are being paid.

Cons

Kindness is seen as weakness in bluemercury culture. If you are a genuine human with a heart for others/people pleaser, they will ride you until complete burn out without mention of any pay raise no matter how long you’ve been there or how much money you’ve made for them. You will work to the bone and still struggle to pay your bills and all they will say is work harder.
