Pros

Easy, very little stress, raises, health insurance

Cons

Easy - not challenged at all. Also, I noticed there was a funny bad review up here, which is no longer. I did not write it but I agreed with it. What's up with that Glassdoor?

Big Money maker..but unwilling to pay industry salary standards

Pros

The company has the typical tech “startup” feel. Bring your dog to work. Free lunches and food from time to time. Great health benefits and free gym membership. Everyone was extremely nice there and always willing to help.

Cons

My only grievance was the pay. Boston’s a tech hub and Blueport is a moneymaker. The salaries don’t reflect that especially with its growth.

Pros

- Competitive pay - DOG FRIENDLY (this by itself is a game changer) - You're given lots of freedom and trust in your work, but guidance is always present - The culture is super collaborative and supportive. Lunch is almost always a communal affair, even with a growing employee count. - Lots of transparency into what the business is up to in terms of the pipeline, issues we're dealing with, etc. - Most benefits are pretty great - Stocked kitchen with snacks, beer, etc. - Super understanding of work/life balance needs. Need to work from home? Just let the team know and you're good to go. Life happens, and Blueport understands.

Cons

- 401k. This is probably the only benefit I'd say is pretty lacking here. It's essentially match for 1% of your salary. While it's definitely better than nothing, it pales in comparison to a lot of other companies I've been at.
