Building Relationships and Growth
Pros
I have worked for Bluestone and Hockley for nearly 5 years. In that time, I have seen so much growth and development throughout the entire company. May of 2016, I was promoted to a corporate level position. In my current Residential Relationship Manager Position, I have many NEW benefits: -Career opportunities and room for growth-It is now a requirement that I take a class at least twice per year to better myself. -I have reasonable paid time off with increases at certain benchmarks, reasonable salary with raises during reviews, I qualify for performance bonuses. -My work/life balance is absolutely phenomenal. I no longer work from home and am able to separate my work life from my home life completely. -My direct supervisor, Kelsey, never asks her employees to do anything she is not willing to do herself. She is exceedingly patient, willing to teach, and kind. -My department supervisor, Jeremy, is a huge employee advocate. He pushes for personal development, uses mistakes as teaching and growth opportunities, and genuinely wants us to succeed. With all of the improvements I have seen in this company (specifically in the last 18 months since Jeremy came on board and 10 months since I have been at corporate) I am hopeful for the continued growth and success of this company. Definitely recommend!
Cons
While Bluestone and Hockley does SO many things right, I genuinely wish there was a stronger sense of comradery. It would be nice to have team building experiences outside of the day-to-day grind at work to build relationships and trust between co-workers.
