Pros
There is a culture of high work standards. Testing and code quality are not dirty words. I've been sent to multiple conferences(both as speaker and attendee). Online courses are encouraged and often reimbursed. Rigorous debate tightens processes. This is apparent in design reviews, which are very much about bullet proofing and asking important honest questions.
Cons
With growth comes growth pain. There are challenges that arise from a company multiplying in size and business volume over a relatively short period.
