Pros
As a RA at BJU I have had the opportunity to have an enormous impact on the life of my residents and help them progress through their academic careers. If you want an opportunity to work with people and help them grow I would recommend this position.
Cons
As an RA you can expect communication, pay, and reporting/management structure to be up to par if it were the late 1980's . The dorms are falling apart and in need of regular repair (This may not be a con in the near future as there is scheduled repair) To communicate put the pay level in perspective my bi weekly check is equivalent two days work at my current summer job.
