Pros
Great relationships with Museum and Gallery employers and coworkers. They are very personable, genuine, and understanding. The experiences I've had are memorable and I have developed real friendships with everyone there. The Museum and Gallery kids camp in the summer is super fun. If you're a prospective BJU employee not related to the Museum, I would absolutely discourage you from working here as there is so much instability caused by Steve Pettit's "dishonorable discharge" several years ago and Josh Crockett's incompetence. However, there have been few-to-no changes regarding the Museum and Gallery that I am aware of and it is successful enough on its own that I am not worried. I would not still be employed there if I was.
Cons
The pay is very low- I've worked 3 summers at the Museum and Gallery kids camp and never gotten more than minimum wage. You can't expect to live comfortably on a BJU salary at any level in the institution.
