Pros

Great, intelligent people Great pay and benefits (retirement, health, education) Great to have the holidays bunched together at the end of the year, so that you don't have to use a bunch of vacation time for the holiday season. Flex schedule is great.

Cons

Everything is absolutely bogged down by the corporate structure. Very easy to get lost in the crowd. Except for very few groups, the work is typically not high-paced, which is bad for an early-career engineer. Horrendous corporate leadership. While a lot of the current criticism on mass media is not very accurate, everything regarding how poorly/shadily the company is run is spot on.

Cons

-Less than desirable knowledge transfer -Very much a seniority-based and hierarchal corporation -Lack of transparency between engineering Union, employees, and Boeing -Lack of accountability in mismanagement of programs or events -Consistently re-brands or band-aids issues rather than address root problems -Slower career growth pace than other STEM industries -Individual experience can vary greatly depending on group (inconsistent culture) -Age gaps and lack of diversity
