Pros
You can “green light” to a higher paying job even if you’re extremely incompetent.
Cons
The pay is bad compared to anyone else in aviation. Mandated overtime with no work life balance and if you can’t do the overtime it counts as an absence (overtime sometimes starting at 1:30 am). Almost no one knows what they’re doing (which shows in the quality of planes coming out of production). Management only cares about numbers not safety or quality (we were knowingly kept in a trailer with black mold and then moved the the 1 trailer with the “least amount of black mold”)
