Pros

Health Care, Education Benefits (so that youn can leave the company for a higher paying role elsewhere.

Cons

There seems to be a growing divide between management and employees. When people raise concerns or offer perspectives that differ from the prevailing view, they fear retaliation. At Boeing, it often feels like no good deed goes unpunished. Leadership creates a culture of fear rather than support.

Pros

Healthcare and retirement benefits are fantastic

Cons

Management is stuck in the past and very much a “good ole boys” club where if you do not fit their ideal view of a worker drone who asks no questions, then you are treated poorly. In my years with the company, I saw and heard discrimination and openly negative comments about the following protected classes from several levels of employees (including leadership who had been with the company for decades): race, gender, sexual orientation, and people with disabilities. Training is 100% nonexistent. For the first year I was with the company, the only training I got was my boss (and his boss after I asked for futher guidance) telling me to look on the internal drive for something to do and if I don’t know how to do it then to ask questions. Then when I asked questions I was told to figure it out because they didn’t have time. By the time I resigned it was clear that there was no level of respect across the company, either for leadership or from leadership, and that there was no level of accountability for managers and their poor behavior. Then add the fact that the company has been losing money for half a decade leading to low (or no) raises and bonuses, with the exception of executives who get golden parachutes for “leading” the company further into the red.
