      Some roles can become rather dull as you sit at your desk all day working to established business processes

      Pros

      Interesting job, flexible hours, great co-workers, great resources (labs, technicians, materials). The work really is interesting. You learn a lot and its hard to get bored.

      Cons

      Terrible pay, small raises, scarce promotions, frequent lay-offs, over-paid management. I really feel undervalued and under appreciated. I don't know how much longer I can stay with the company.
