It has been a roller coaster.

Pros

Up to $4 free food when working. Paid Vacation starting after 1 year of commitment.

Cons

Part-time employees cannot work more than 28 hours now. Part-time employees used to be able to work up to 40 hours if they wanted to. The MAXIMUM wage a crew member can make is $9.50/hour, but it takes many years to get anywhere close to that. After four years of service, I am only making $8.65 after starting out at $7.25. The only reason I got to $8.65 is, because I am a team trainer. I don't think I would be making as much if I hadn't moved up. Mangers don't make much more than crew members

Pros

$4 meal mark out with every shift, requested time off is usually granted, customer satisfaction is valued.

Cons

On weekends, eight hour shifts without breaks are normal. Schedules are only given the Friday before, and schedules may change without notice. Employees are not trusted. Your time and outside of work obligations (school, family, another job, etc.) are not respected. Raises are unheard of. High employee turnover. No benefits besides food discounts, low hours.

Pros

Free medical insurance for entire family. 1 Free meal per day.

Cons

Company don't care about you, very hard long hours 80 hrs/ wk, pay sucks, company culture wants you to manage as slave driver. Stay away from Tands inc. Bojangles. There are lots of better companies with better pay then this.
