The reason why I won't be working in fast food ever again.
Pros
I get a decent amount of hours. It took me six months to prove to my superiors I was worthy of working 25 hours a week, but I did it.
Cons
Terrible pay, with no negotiations for raises; you get paid more only if the company has been doing well lately, and if your higher ups like you enough to give you an evaluation. Has more rules (many of which are literally the stupidest things you've ever heard of) than ANY place I've ever worked, and yes, you will get written up for breaking them - even if no one told you said rules existed. (Example: I got sick while I was at work. I did not ask to go home, my boss told me I had to go home. I got written up for "missing too much work" because missing this one day amounted to over 25% of my shifts for that week. Yeah. Because that makes sense.) I was physically abused by my manager and they say they're going to do something about it but haven't yet. They will make you travel but refuse to pay for any more than 40 miles' worth of gas, thus forcing you to pay to go to their stupid seminars.
