WFH and good health insurance, but chaotic environment

WFH. I think that is honestly the only upside. And health insurance is pretty good too.

Cons

Its career suicide. The company is a gigantic mess. Everyone works in silos and now there’s a push for AI adoption that makes it a mess on steroids moving really fast. CEO is non existent and rarely addresses the company. Leadership is a revolving door, and you never know what team will be impacted nxt on silent layoffs. Theres zero knowledge transition, so when someone leaves, everything they did or knew leaves with them. Also, dont believe for a second this is a social good company. Its a dysfunctional tech backed by a multimillion VC. Also, there is non existent growth opportunities.

As a person, I felt well taken care of by my management chain. We were encouraged to explore and be vocal and I never felt micromanaged.

Cons

- Questionable payment structure for ICs (no bonus plan) - Leadership doesn't do much of anything but takes all of the credit while the rest of us get laid off - Like most companies run out of Austin, it's a cash grab at the top while ICs do all of the work with little direction
