Pays very well. Interview process is wildly different from the actual work that we impleement

Cons

Travel domain is very product oriented and hence the problems are also very domain oriented. Challenges rarely arise due to missing engineering solutions, but rather due to solving regulations issues, different payment modes etc. Engineers are not very well trained, don't understand bounded contexts, design principles.

Until now I have an amazing experience at Booking.com with an amazing team. The onboarding went super smooth. The team direction and mission is clear and it was very easy to start. The office and colleagues are amazing!
